DETAILS: The brief from St James was to design an infill scheme on the land which was formally a depot for Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Council. The instruction was to respect the adjacent dwellings and urban street pattern and to comply with the requirements and design guidance of the planning department of Hammersmith and Fulham Borough Council.

The scheme proposes a total of 69 units, 20 houses and 49 flats. The buildings are designed at 3-storeys (plus roof terrace on basement houses) above street level. These dwellings are carefully located and stepped down in scale to respect the existing adjacent houses in Stowe Road.
